Mother Seton Award
We are pleased to share that Mr. Chip Kline has been named as this year’s recipient of the Mother Seton Award. Each year, Our Lady of Mercy Catholic School seeks to recognize a deserving candidate from our school family to be the recipient of this award. The Mother Seton Award honors those individuals whose volunteer service and dedication to home, school, and church have been exemplary. Chip was honored at a reception in April along with other Diocesan Mother Seton Award winners.
Mr. Kline’s character personifies our school’s motto, “Prayer, Knowledge, and Service.” He has served as the president of the Men of Mercy, built houses for Habitat for Humanity, is active in the Knights of Columbus and serves as a member of the Fair committee. A faithful Catholic active in Mercy’s ACTS community, Chip is also a Committed Adorer in the Adoration Chapel, and serves as a Sunday Mass lector and Extraordinary Minister.
We are pleased to recognize this very deserving member of our community who is rooted in strong Catholic values, with a selfless and humble dedication to our parish.
