Grades 5-8 are departmentalized.  Teachers work closely together to assure integration of the curriculum. There are eight forty-five minute classes each day.  Religion is taught daily.  Students study nine weeks each of Spanish, art, and computer on a rotating schedule.  Students have physical education four times a week in addition to a music class, if band or choir will not be chosen as electives. Physical education is taught twice a week if a student takes band or choir.
