As we plan for the next school year, your child's health and safety are primary concerns. Communicating their health needs to teachers and staff are of utmost importance. Please inform Nurse Charlene if your child has an allergy or illness which will require having medications on campus for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year.
Please contact her by email if you are interested in meeting with your child's teacher to discuss health concerns and medication(s). Meetings will take place right before the start of next school year.
REMINDER: If your child has medication on file at school, please pick up as soon as possible. Any unclaimed medication must be disposed after that time. Medication forms for next school year can be downloaded from the OLOM School website. The "School Medication Form" AND "State of LA Medication Order" can be completed and signed by you and your pediatrician any time before the start of the next school year. Forms can be returned to the office, emailed to Nurse Charlene, or faxed to 225-923-2201.
